  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 6 slices bread

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

In a bowl add besan along with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ajwain, coriander leaves and salt.

Step 2

Gradually add water while whisking so that no lumps are formed.

Step 3

Take a bread slice and cut it into quarters.
Dip each bread pieces into the above batter and pour into hot oil for deep frying.

Repeat the step for all the bread pieces

Step 4

Flip the bread slices when golden in colour. It can take 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat

Step 5

Remove the bread pieces and keep aside.

Fry all the bread pieces till golden brown in colour.

Step 6

Serve with green chutney and ketchup.
Your simple and delicious Besan Bread is ready..!!
