  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 150gms french beans
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Prepare Fenugreek Leaves:
Wash and chop the fenugreek leaves. If they are very bitter, you can blanch them briefly in hot water, then drain.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and Let them splutter.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Step 3

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder Stir well.

 

Step 4

Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates. Cover the kadhai and cook while stirring in between.

 

Step 5

Add the chopped fenugreek leaves to the pan with french beans. Stir and cook for a 10-15 minutes until the fenugreek leaves are cooked. 

Step 6

Add, sesame seeds for extra flavor.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired. Serve hot with naan or roti.
